We've booked our church last Sunday, and that officially marked our wedding preps. So it really is ON and YES, WE NOW HAVE A DATE! I know; it's still more than a year, but we really want to secure our preferred suppliers. As a matter of fact, I think it's never too early to book your church. We initially wanted to have our wedding in the late afternoon, but, lo and behold, our preferred time was already taken! It was reserved just a day before we do. Kalurks. So we have to settle on the early afternoon slot. Good thing narin, so our relatives from the province can go home earlier.
Also last Sunday, my super friends, Buboy and Maryel, went with me at the Getting Married Bridal Fair - one of the most comprehensive bridal fair event in the country. There we booked our other major suppliers. I super love, love fairs! You get to see other possible suppliers, taste test their products and of course, FREEEEEEEBIES! We got a free dessert buffet for booking our caterer there and a free onsite AVP and prenup photos slideshow from our photographer! It's like a whopping 15K savings :D How about that!
The next fair will be on March and I'm hoping to find an excellent yet reasonably priced couturier. We'll start preparing the needed documents too. * PLANNING AND PREPARING WAY AHEAD OF TIME - WELL THAT'S ME :) *
